Activate Tesla wiper Service Mode via your vehicle touchscreen to access the wiper arms for replacement.
Raise the wiper arm a short distance from the windshield. Always place a protective towel between the wiper arm and windshield to prevent glass damage if the arm slips.
Remove the old wiper blade from the original arm, then unbolt and remove the old wiper arm from the vehicle linkage.
Install the new genuine wiper arm onto the linkage, tighten mounting bolts to factory torque specifications.
Adjust the wiper arm angle to factory specification of -0.5° (+/- 4°) using a wrench and alignment tool for optimal performance.
Reinstall the wiper blade onto the new arm, confirm the locking tab is fully engaged.
Exit Service Mode via the touchscreen, test wiper operation and check for streaking or chatter.
⚠️ Caution: Wiper blades do not lock into a raised position. Never lift a wiper arm beyond its intended operating position to avoid bending or breaking the arm or windshield.
