Open the rear right door and remove the rear glass run channel seal clips to access the secondary seal mounting area
Use masking tape to mark the exact position of the old seal before removal for perfect alignment of the new seal
Remove the old secondary seal (note: original seals are not reusable after removal)
Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove all residue, and allow to dry for 1 minute
Peel back a small section of the adhesive backing, insert the seal end into the glass run channel (maximum 25mm depth) with the opening facing the door interior
Align the seal edge with your masking tape guide, gradually peel off the backing, and press firmly into place. Do not stretch the seal during installation.
Use a roller to firmly secure the seal to the door, reattach the glass run channel clips, and remove the masking tape
Verify that drain holes at the bottom of the door are not blocked to prevent water trapping
